Your Unique Worldview On Your Craft

What does risk mean to you?

“To me, the biggest risk one can take is adhering too strictly to the syllabus or roadmap; or always trying to seek one. The world of software engineering is too vast, too exciting, and interesting, to remain confined.

What are the top books which you think everyone should read?

“1. Atomic Habits. Because you don't raise to the level of your goals, you fall the the level of your systems. And habits are the compound interest of self-improvement. 2. 7 Habits of highly effective people. Because, it thought me to be proactive, to work backwards, to put first things first, to find win-win, to understand before being understood, to find synnergy and to sharpen the saw.

If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of career advice, what would it be?

“if you work really hard at the beginning of the career and you get a little bit better at what you do every day, every week, every year and you learn more and you meet more people and just get more done. There is a compound effect & it's far better to put that time in at the beginning of your career than at the end of it because if you do at the beginning you get the benefit of it for the rest of the time you work.

What are your strongest beliefs?

“Nothing gets me quite as fired up as discovering the future early and undistributed. That feeling of realizing that something is simply better, and the only reason it hasn't taken off yet is because the world hasn't realized it. It's amazing, and it's how I'm feeling about Linux right now. That "how did I not know it was this good" sensation.

What is something you believe that most others don't believe?
